Tests to check for general health?

What blood tests do you specifically recommend for checking overall health for men? Looking to change my diet and I want to have a starting marker for comparison later.

I've heard a comprehensive blood panel should be sufficient, but this is a new world to me. Also, are there any recommended private labs that you would recommend?

Hi Volvo, The comprehensive blood test should do you, should cover all you want, the diet do you think you over weight, its getting off fast foods and junk foods, cut out alcohol are a good start, get out and exercise, walking and swimming are the best two you can do.
Try doing the cabbage diet every two weeks, its a seven day diet you can google, the inbetween weeks just keep the fruit and banana days going, but just do it twice and see just how you doing, you will gain back a coulpe of pounds, but dont worry, you can do a weight tracker on site, this helps to keep an eye on things.
Any help
Good Luck

How are you Mr volvo,

I don´t really know, specifically, the names of the tests in english, since I take them in spanish. In general, look for these tests:
- The one that messures liver enzimes, maybe called "Hepatic biometric"?
- The one that messures all your blood, maybe called "Hemogram"?
- Stool sample
- Urine sample...

I would say those are the basics. No doctor here, just common knowledge I gathered on the way.
