To everyone with answer

I have this discomfort on my left nipple area which began around 3 weeks ago. Physically, it was not an obvious one, as I could still see that both my nipples are still symmetrical and no physical changes on the surface. However, if you feel it there's a lump (or should I just say swelling?) that is very tender to touch (well, it hurts only occasionally now and pain is tolerable just like on it's onset, though before it felt bigger (or should I say wider) and pain is bearable but with I'd-rather-not-touch-it tolerance to it). The lump (or swelling) is still going on till today.

I'm not taking in any medication, though I have 2 creams that I apply to my face because I am also suffering from pustular acne (brand name W-II aFGF) with scarring (the cream I used is Contractubex). The former is a product I bought outside, while the latter I bought OTC. My acne is getting better--not for using the creams but with age I guess--so I'm focused on getting the scar to fade using the latter cream. Anyway, I digress.

I stopped using both for 5 days now because I was hoping that in doing so the lump (or swelling) would finally subside. I could tell it's smaller now by doing a procedure: I raise my left arm up, and using the palm on my right hand and run it up and down towards the nipple area. The pain is still there, though I could say I could now tolerate it better than, I say, 2 weeks ago. However, I'm still uncomfortable because the lump (or swelling) is still there, as I compare by doing the abovementioned procedure to the right, which is normal.

Do you think I should need to see a doctor, or was this a normal incident? You can email me your answer to ***@**** for your immediate response.
