Tramadol is definitely NOT the drug of choice for knee pain. It has lots of side effects.
Look it up in the PDR.
You should get off it as of yesterday.
Try simple Ibuprufin, but increase the dose to 800mg every 12 hours. The over-the-counter pills contain 200mg.
You have to find out what is causing the pain, for goodness sake.
It could be a torn miniscus, for example. Or perhaps there is fluid in the knee that has to be drained.
