I am a 27 year old man. I have had symptoms now on and off for the past 18 months. I feel a tingling, prickling, almost burning type of sensation in my thighs on a continual basis. It is usually centred around the inside and backs of the thighs at the top. It is not painfulPainful menstrual periods but very uncomfortable and is most noticeable when I sit down. It used to happen every couple of months and last constantly for about 2 weeks, however gradually the sensations have come more frequently and lasted for longer, so much so that now I am experiencing it more often than not. Initially I experienced some other symptoms at the same time, particularly itchiness in the groinGroin lump Groin pain Groin stretch Jock itch Swollen lymph nodes in the groin and pain in the penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain, but these symptoms have basically gone and now all I really suffer from is the thigh pain.
I have been tested and re-tested for STDs and am confident that the symptoms are not caused by any STDs. I have seen a neurologist and had an MRI which was clearClear by design Clear eyes Clear eyes acr Clear eyes clr Clear-atadine Clear-atadine children's. I have seen a urologist who diagnosed type 3 prostatitis; I have had 2 courses of ciproxin that have not helped, he has also performed a cystoscopy and prostatic massage and sent prostatic fluid samples off to test, all of which came back negative for anything.
I am willing to accept the natureNature-throid Natures tears of prostatis and that that is what may be causing these problems but I do not have any of the other typical prostatitis symptoms. The fact that I have not had a positive test result for anything means that I still can't be sure exactly what is wrong.
This is very distressing for me, if anyone can offer me any advice I would be very grateful.
