Urethra Issues- help!

by Dani924, Jun 18, 2007 12:00AM
Hello, I'd like to apologize for the ambiguity of my title but I have no idea what my problem is, and thank you in advance for any advice you can give.

For the past month I have been having problems urinating. It is not that I have frequent urges, or that I have trouble going, but that at the end of my urination recently i experience very sharp burning sensations. More specifically it feels as if towards the end of my urination the urine becomes thick, the fluidity ceases and becomes hard to control sprinkles, and leaves a resonating pain for 15-20 minutes.

I have "pushed through the pain" so to speak, as this had happened to me once before and subsided, but now it is beginning to worry me. I am 16 and I am a virgin so it is not and STD and should not be any aging issue. My sex drive is low (not that I'm wanting to have sex but that the actual 'urges' i should be having have dipped considerably probably as a result of the pains; and i have begun fearing to use the bathroom.

More importantly however i think i have found the source of the issue. I have noticed inside my penis (in the urethra) white solid particles. In an experimental masturbation session, (an unfufilling one that ejaculated oddly and with thin semen) a whole array of these white particles came out along with the semen, flaky and comparable to dandruff. They seem to form within my urethra, and may be a source of blockage.

The only thing I have ever heard of that is white and solid/flaky having to do with a penis is smegma, which i doubt is the issue as I am circumcised and shower daily. I have started drinking canberry juice as i've heard it's a magical remedy for these types of things but otherwise I have no clue what to do.
I'm very sorry for the length of my post, and thank you again very much for any help and advice you can give.

Dude, see a doctor!
It could be residual scar tissue from inside the uretha, or any of a range of infections called non-gonococal urethritis. These can become chronic issues resulting in a build up of scar tissue over time. I have just had my third Cystoscopy and a meatotomy. Yesterday I had a tube inserted to stretch the uretha wider and a vertical incision in the head of my penis to enlarge that opening. It is minor surgery, but surgery non the less. I also have a prescription of Fucidin to soften the scar tissue. Over the years I have had symptoms as simple as; a slow go, severe burning, or,oh oh it stopped and I haven't finished. Sometimes tissue from the inside of the Urethra would peel away resulting in me pissing all over the place or worse, on my pants. It can make public outings nerve racking, and you'll be streesed to use other bathrooms.
My condition was chronic, partly because i waited too long to seek treatment, allowing first the infection and then the scar tissue time to build.
See you doctor, the sooner the better. It might be nothing, an injury that released tissue or a vigourous masterbation (masturbation) session and will be fine.
But experience tells me go to a doctor and be sure.

I agree with the other poster, it is time to see a doctor.
