Urology

My son is 14 years old. In 2007 he complained of pain and swelling in his left testicle. The doctors did an ultrasound to be sure he did not have testicular torsion. He was diagnosed with hydrocele. Recently he had another episode of swelling of the left testicle accompanied with pain, he was given another ultrasound and found to have fluid and diagnosed with hydrocele. What are the chances my son has had torsion and the testicle untwisted. and if this is the case should this problem go untreated. What health concerns will be present if any with this problem? Thank you!
