Vasectomy Question

Condom broke, vasectomy just over two weeks ago. No follow up yet. Should I be worried?

Since you are not sterile after your vasectomy, temporary male birth control is needed. At least 2 and sometimes more semen analyses are needed to confirm no moving sperm are present. Testing typically takes place at two months and then three months after your vasectomy procedure. If the 3 month test shows no sperm then the patient is cleared to return to have unprotected intercourse.

The big question is how many times did you ejaculate before this event.  If this was the first time, there is very good likelihood that there was sperm present.  The more times there were the less likely there are live sperm present.  However, the above posting is correct, there is very good possibility that there was sperm present and up to three months after.
