always raw between circumcision scar and head-why?

Why do I always feel that the skin around the glans is raw and somewhat painful? I don't masterbate or have sex more than 3-4 weekly but yet the head and tip often feel much less smooth and more "tacky" than below the circumcision scar.  I try to use moisturizer there but it never seems to change how the skin feels. Even when in the middle of pleasurable sensation I can rub below the rim of the glans and feel mild pain.

I'm having a hard time thinking of this as normal wear and tear but wondering if anyone has had similar ongoing discomforts like this.

Already been checked by docs but thinking of visiting a dermatologist.

thanks

My circ left all the internal tissue and only removed the outside skin, frenum, ridged band, thankfully, I get sore because the entire mucosal membrane is exposed, but it adds so much to my sensation i would never have another circ to have it removed, i prob couldn't O without it! Anyways, Ive been keeping the skin folded over my glans when soft to protect it all, hurt-free tape keeps the skin pulled up and keeps it from drying out and hurting. The mucosal membrane i have extends almost 30% down my shaft so i have allot of area to keep covered! My scar is about half way down my shaft because of the manor i was done.

Why cant the dam doctors just let nature alone?

the head of the penis is a mucous membrane and it is very sensitive and fragile that is why the foreskin exists to protect it.you are circumcised and do not have the benefit of this protection.i doubt that a dermatologist can help you.you could try foreskin restoration/reconstruction or a transplant to regain a foreskin.
