big red bump

by :(, Feb 22, 2007 12:00AM
A few days ago my pubic hair started itching, about 3 days max. Yesterday I notice there's a large red bump amidst my pubic hair above my penis. This bump could have been there, but it wasn't as large as it is now. It's about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. It doesn't hurt unless I push on it by accident. I normally just trim, but I haven't in a couple weeks. What could this be?

its called foliculitis (folliculitis), get a warm towel and apply to the area, to allow the pore to open, see if it begins to go down
