For years I have had black hard spots on my fingers. some are an inch in width and length. they crack causing using my fingers painful. they get soft with Hydrocerin and other treatments but never go away. Sometimes I think it is the Warfarin I take that causes it but the Dermotolgist says no.
Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include infections, primary skin conditions etc. Side effects of warfarin are unlikely to be localized. This is best evaluated by a dermatologist. After a cause is identified, it can be managed accordingly.
Hope this helps.
