broken penis

About 5 yrs ago while having sexual relations with my wife.She was on the top position.I had slipped out or was repositioning when she came down I heard and felt that horrifying POPPING sound.I imediatley went limp.I was able to again get erect, with me on top I heard and felt the same thing.This time we stopped.I went to my doctor who never heard such a thing.So he disregarded it.My symptoms now are I can acheive an erection but only about 50 - 60% full strenght.It takes a bit longer to get there.I do have a slight curveature.After orgasm I go limp within a minute.I have no pain what so ever.
My question..Is it to late to have this corrected? Whats the chances of operation err and me being impotent? Do you have any eurologist to reccomend in the Las Vegas area?

I am almost 49 yrs old and I feel I have plenty more years to go sexually.

I believe its called a "Fractured" Penis the curvature is caused from scar tissue, Im sure there is A. laser treatment or B. implants available.  Don't stress about it but you can see a doctor for it.
