I am asking the question on behalf of my husband who is terrified to go to the doctor.
He is 46, active and in good health. He is about 6' 2" and about 230lbs. He discovered a lumpLumps in the breasts several years ago on left side of chest at the ribRib cage pain line. No pain, no discoloring, dosen't move, no additional growth after finding it. Yesterday he finally shared that he has dicovered additional lumpsLumps in the breasts, right shoulder shoulders intensive treatment Shoulder arthroscopy Shoulder pain, left mid-back. Again no pain, no discoloration, and they don't move. If he didn't point them out you wouldn't know they were there. He has no other apparent symptoms or complaints. He has lost some weight but I thought it was stress and he stopped drinking soda.
Im certainly no expert but lumps aren't always a sign of cancer. Some of results of glands and build-ups, although I would really urge him to see a doctor. If he leaves it any longer, and it is serious, he's in trouble... although like I said, try not worrying until the doctor gives his verdict. You MUST force him to see a doctor for your sake as well as his.
