check ups

when is it that men are supposed to start getting checked on a regular? i know females start get annuals when they become sexually active or hit 18. but i need to know when is the proper time for a male to start getting checked regularly.

My doctor told me once I hit my mid-late 40's...I have diabetes and a pacemaker so I need to stick with (pacemaker due to a malfuntion in communication from my brain to my heart as to when it's supposed to pick up the pace a little bit...fortunately I found out I had the problem when I arrived at work rather than driving 80MPH on the highway...passed out and off I went to the hospital..and a colleague from work was right there when it happened after I dashed up a flight of stairs
