doc diagnosed with Lupus erythematosus from biopsy on face

How does one get this skin disease and how is the best way to treat it.

you have this immune disorder that manifests in different ways. my aunt had this for many years untill she died at 38 . usually present from birth , it attacks tissue and can be debiltating . it can cause serious long term damage to major organs and is incurable . you really need to see a specialist to be checked for other damage and management of the condition .my aunt led a full life and had two children who are free of the condition , she died after it attacked her lungs and she gave up fighting .sle can be mild in some cases but you should be aware of the complications. i am sorry if it paints you a horrible picture but you may be lucky and have a mild case . good luck and do keep posting if you need any support x x
