erection related problem

i am 22 and the last time me and my girlfriend were together i had an erection that lasted for more than 2 hrs. but we didn't go all the way to have sex neither did i masturbate. so ejaculation never happened. minutes later i felt a growing pain from the inside of my testicles and the surrounding region. i even found it hard to walk because the slightest body movement resulted in huge pain. the pain remained till i slept and the next day it started again followed by the need to ****. i was surprised to see my **** was in red'sh color. what is the reason for all this? if i had ejaculated would it still happen. looking for your reply
