hard lump while masturbating

whilst masturbating the other day i found a hard lump on the bottom of my right testicle which since i found it had been very hard. I then checked again the next day and it wasn't there but when me and my girlfriend were having sex it came back and now everytime i masturbate it re-appears. does anyone have any clues as to whats going on?
