hard testicle

recently my left testicle has been very hard permanently. it sometimes aches slightly. does anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Get this checked out ASAP. Not saying it "will" be something serious but the chance is there and i wouldn't want to take risks.

There is a good chance it's nothing more than a varicocele but you cannot take risks with testicular hardness. Visit your GP/Doctor and request an ultrasound.
