head feeling

head feeling

I have been having these episodes for about 3 years. I am fine and doing anything and my head all of a sudden feels like I have just drank 10 drinks at once ( I have not drank in 25 years). It is hard to explain but it is is very disturbing. It may only happen once every couple of months but I feel like falling down . Everything around me feels like it is different. Like I am floating. It has always lasted only a few seconds but I had one yesterday and it was so much stronger. I felt like I was hit upside the head with a bat. Not like pain but the felling hit me a lot harder and it took me 5 minutes to recover. I have told my heart doctor but he seems to blow it off. I have leaking valves in my heart and mitro valve prolapse. I thought I was a gonna yesterday. It is not vertigo. I know what that is like. Anyone have any episodes like this?
