Your WBC is not over 10800 so it looks like you don't have an infection going on. I'll get back to you on the uric acid number.

Your very welcome. Actually, your BP is still running a little high. Not to worry though. It can takes the meds a little bit to start working, and they may have to be adjusted. Normal BP is under 120/80. I'm glad to hear you bought your own monitor. Check it just once a day at the same time after sitting and resting for around 10 minutes. Of course check it any time you might feel weak or tired. .
Yes, sometimes you have to see several Drs to find out what's going on.
Have you had any problems with gout? High uric acid can some times cause gout problems.
I'm getting ready to check to see what normal WBC numbers should be. I can't remember off the top of my head. So, I'll be getting back to you.

Hi,
Apart from what remar has remarked, it may be important to keep in mind the increased size of the left adrenal. Excessive adrenal hormone production  is one reason for constant high pressure or fluctuating pressure. Normally such condition will have also associated symptoms of  head ache, sweating and high pulse rate, which I believe you do not have. So, my advise in any case is to keep monitoring  the pressure and if it does not get normal with medication, do a check of the urinary adrenal hormones, consult a physician, or an Endo in this case. I also wonder why the urologist did not go for an ultrasound of urinary tract or did not ask for any UTI related testing.

From looking at your test results again, I can see that there is probably no infection going on. They did check RBC but I don't see WBC. I'm wondering why they did'nt check that too. Sometimes, well, almost all of the time, a UTI can cause frequent urination. That's a urinary tract infection and can include the kidneys, bladder and urethra. I'm really at a loss as to why your having this problem. You might want to ask your Dr about doing a urine culture.
I'm still recommending that you get your own home BP monitor. Some people that get placed on these meds can have problems with their BP getting too low. So, that's something you want to keep on eye on in the beginning of treatment especially.
I'll do more research on the fatty liver. I should know more about it since my mother has the same thing. I do know that she has to stay away from certain foods.

thanks for the feedback , also i consulted a urologist who had insisted me to take the scan on my abdomen and results were obtained

Impression:

fatty liver seen
All other spleen, gall bladder , kidney etc etc show noramal sonogrphic pattern

On seeing this he has advised to take aten at night for bp and to be on strict diet

One point mentioned in the report i asked him ; Kidney are normal in size both right and left ; right adrenal is normal and size is 4.8X2.9,left adrenal is relatively bigger 9.8X4.5

i asked if this is a problem - he said nothing to worry could yu thrwo more light on it since still i have the sensation of frequent urination

Your tests results look great. You might want to get your HDL up just a little bit, it's the good cholesterol. And your LDL, the bad cholesterol down a little. Adding a little bit more exercise and making a couple of changes to your diet with do wonders. Really though, your tests look great. Nothing over or under what it should be. You of course do not have diabetes.
You might want to give your Dr a call and ask what they think of you getting a home blood pressure monitor. You can get them at any drug store and many other stores. Take it at around the same time every day after sitting quietly for 5 to 10 minutes. Write the readings down, or take your monitor because they do store your readings, to your Dr. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, if you do happen to have pre-hypertension your Dr will probably want to try and control it with diet and exercise.

I do think that continued high blood pressure can cause kidney problems. You've had this going on for quite awhile now so it's time to do something about it.
Most Drs will do nothing if ***'s below 139/89, because it's pre hypertension and they want you to try and control with it with less stress, diet and exercise. But 160/100 is  hypertension.
Solace gives you great advice. Get more reading so they can take an average. Also, with the frequent urination you might want to have your blood sugar checked along with kidney function.

Hi,
This level of BP is high enough to be taken seriously, past readings are of no significance. Some times you may find such high readings if you were under stress when the readings were taken, and may become normal afterwards. So, you need to confirm it with one more measurement and if it is normal, immediate treatment is not called for, but you should still keep monitoring the pressure more often to ensure that you do not have a fluctuating BP.On the other hand, if the BP is consistently found high, you need to take the medication and keep it under control, as untreated BP can raise to much higher levels and cause problems, even if you are presently symptom free.I am not sure if increased urination is related or not, but in any case,it is better to consult a physician and follow his advice.
