how to I tell the difference between uti and std?

I have burning sensation after ejaculation and urination. I also have a discomfort in the testes. Someone told me that it could be a UTI, others told me chlamydia and some people went out stating that it could be Herpes. Is there a way to the differences.

Most likely, you have inflammation of the prostate. Can be caused by a variety of things, including bacterial infection, damage to the prostate [bumps on a bicycle seat or other trauma] or an STI / STD if you think you may have acquired one. Thinking from your name that 77 is your birth year, you are approaching 40 years old, when prostate problems can become more normal. See your family practitioner who can recommend treatment. You may need to follow up with a urologist. Good luck.

I also have a feeling like I need to pee, but when I go, nothing or very little comes out.
