For quitting smoking, first of all will power to quit smoking is needed. Take plenty of fluids through out the day,take less of sugar and caffeine and take cinnamon sticks or chewing gum when you have the urge to take cigarettes. There are many medicines available for helping in quitting smoking.Some of these are varenicline (Chantix),bupropion (Zyban) and nicotine replacement products like nicotrol inhaler and nasal spray and nicoderm patches. But they are available only on prescription.
