huspands sex problems

hello, please help. my huspand and i have been together for 10year, we have been married for 3yrs & have a 2yr old son.  6yrs ago my huspand had to have a testicle removed due to it twisting.  b4 the surgry we had a great sex life but sence then he has been having trouble getting or keeping an eraction, it doesnt happen all the time just sometimes. and now he has lost his sex drive. he has gone to the dr and they gave him viagra and thats it.  ive tried the get him to go to a sex therpist but he refuses and thinks he can fix himself.  We have a great marriage(we are very close) we have a great life and family. this is the only problem we have in our marriage.

It could be a self concious thing even with him not realizing it.  Maybe he's feeling insecure because of the removal of the testical.  I think his pride is getting the best of him and the sex therapy you mentioned to him is a great idea.  I think it can be totally rewarding. Good luck!

I agree with the previous comment, a sex therapist will offer him a forum to discuss his issues without the pressure of outside judgemnt. The removal of a testicle is a pretty traumatic event, and there could even be residual scar tissue that is causing a blockage in blood flow to the penis due to this, he needs to see a urologist first and formost, then go from there if the problem isn't medical.
