i punched a door

hi there i punched a door with my right hand and had a ring on my middle finger the next day my middle finger swelled up which meant i had to take an angle grinder to my finger to get the ring off and now after a couple of days if i move my finger in any direction it is very very painful also my middle finger knuckle is sunken down and it clicks, did i break my knuckle or did i dislocate my finger please help as i am afraid of hospitals

thanks for the help bob, i have got a bandage on it just now which seems to help it a little with the pain i can still move the finger but just the clicking makes it sore and the back of my hand too is sore when i move my finger out of place
