Fifty seems a little young to have erectile disfunction (ED).  Let's try something first before calling the game over, eh?

Get him some L-arginine tablets and have him take 4,000mg/day.  Also, get him a canister of whey protein shake mix and have him take one or two per day.  These two items will help his body create nitric oxide, a gas in the body which acts a hormone on the circulatory system.  NO (nitric oxide) works to increase blood flow, especially to the penis -- important if you want an erection.  Arginine and cystein work together to form this substance (both of which you'll get plenty of in these two supplements).  Once he's started on this regimen, give him a week for it to work completely and see what "pops" up!  You might be surprised.
