loss of balance



I am having problems with my balance I feel drunk and spent there days in A and E having a ct scan and MRI scan with no answers to the problem, I am sleeping alot and have pain in the top of shoulders on both sides.This is going on for two weeks now , they say I have high holesterol at 7.3 and i am now on lipotor. the lipitor is only new to me, it would seem that if I get tired I have the problem with my balance,I sleep and that seems to work.

Your drunkness sounds very much like you have an ear infection, and there is also a disease that can do this it causes an imbalance that gives the same as being drunk.

Did your symptoms start after you started taking Lipitor? If it did that could be the problem talk to your doctor about it.

thank you for your comment, yes it was for my head and it was a Neurologist that had them done , I am back at work but the problem still there.

I'm assuming the Ct and MRI were of your head! I suggest seeing a Neurologist and bring your scans and reports with you.
