This may be just a simple calcium deposit. I know, because my husband has one too. If this is the case, there isn't anything to worry about, and as long as it doesn't cause any pain, it can even be left untreated. However, if your husband does start experiencing pain, or if he just doesn't want the unsightly lump anymore, he can go to your doctor and have it removed. But regardless of what it is, he should have it checked out by a doctor (ideally a dermatologist) to make sure it isn't anything serious.
