mature growth - post 40 male

My husband recently had a growth spurt. he has been 6'3 since he was in his teens. Now he is 46 and has had 2 physicals in the last year that show him to be 6'4. He had thyroid cancer (the benign kind) and had his thyroid removed 4 years ago. he is on synthetic hormones daily. has anyone ever heard or experienced this?

Get his Pituitary Gland checked. Since he had thyroid issues they often go hand in hand.
The pituitary gland is responsible for the thyroid hormones and growth hormone. The growth disorder is called, acromegaly. Look it up on the web.
I am on the thyroid forum and active in educating people regarding these issues.
