medication for BPH

Do you know of a medication with less side effects than Flomax, that is not hard on the liver and doesn't cause loss of strength, drowsiness, and confusion, for relieving the symptoms of BPH? If you do know of one or more, please provide me with the brand and generic names of these medications, and if you have a print out on the side effects. Also, keep in mind, although I was perscribed Terazosin and Finasteride, I didn't take either medication because I was concerned they may have similar side effects like Flomax.
