Fever is an indication that there is some inflammation  in your body. Of course, if you have an infection, your temperature would be high and not mild. You have been tested for the major causes of illnesses that produce temperature changes. Have you tried a simple experiment on yourself using aspirin to lower a temperature? This is only a suggestion:  use a regular aspirin two or three times a day for several days and monitor your temperature. If you do try this suggestion, follow each aspirin with a glass of liquid whether water, juice, milk to ensure your stomach does not get upset.
