moles

I have a mole on my scrotum . my family dr. has seen it , i am 40 yrs old ,it has been there for 15 yrs. recently it swelled up and got sore , and drained. I havent seen my DR. since this happened.Originally he thought it was noyhing to worry about. Should it be removed , should i be concerned?

I would contact your doc before doing anything. Or you may of had an ingrown hair on it...
