my question is about balanitis

a few years ago i had a very itchy and inflamed foreskin. the head of my penis was also very itchy with red patches on it.i used some anti fungal cream on it and that seemed to work but what i have noticed is were the inflamation (inflammation) was on the head it seed to have left some poc mark looking indents.my question is does this sound like balanitis and if so does it sound like it's gone or do those marks mean it's still active?i could send a photo if that would be helpful.any info on this would be very helpful .thank you
