If you are not suffering any pain (or slight pain), and this has been with you all those years, it's probably nothing. Seeing a doctor would help I bet, if only to put your mind at ease.
Much more of concern to me is your HPV 16 - positive ex. That's the cervical cancer-causing HPV strain as I'm sure you know. The bad news is, HPV is not curable. The good news is that the chances of developing cancer even from this strain is very low. There also is a vaccine (Gardasil) that may be able to protect her from developing cervical cancer. It's best for you both to go to the doctor with your findings and get a professional opinion, because I'm not a doctor.
