penis bumps, abrasions

I'am a 22 yr old male who have smalll small bumps that are non-painful, not filled with pus and have appeared on the underside head of the penis about 5 months ago,. I dont fear that it is a Std because i havent had sex in 4 years and she was virgin. At times i do tend to masterbate rigorously and often-i dont know if this can be a factor with the bumps. But the bumps are harmless-its like it even isnt there unless u look at it. Can any of you help me? Thanx!

They are likely not pearly penile papules, most guys don't have them and they usually don't just appear on someone in their 20s. They also usually form in very orderly fasion. The most likely diagnosis is hpv, the virus that causes gential warts. Do not be overly alarmed though, hpv usually resolves itself and 75% of american men are exposed to it at some point. Sometimes they may require surgical removal, generally they don't reappear in someone who doesn't have a comprimised immune system (eg someone with hiv or lupus)
