penis irritation

by henrystevens19, May 07, 2007 12:00AM
So I am a 23yo male in very good health. Slept with 4 different girls in my past. So I am kind of freaking out here. About a month ago I started seeing this new girl. Every time after we have sex (unprotected), i get a bit of irritation on the base of my penis..just on the sides. No bumps, no discharge, no pain, just irritation. I put a 1% hydrocortizone lotion on it for a day or two, and it ends up dissapearing like dry skin.  Now it ONLY happens every time after we have sex..never lasts more then a day or two. No pain, discomfort, just like dry skin. I have been doing hours of research and heard it could br irritation combined from intercourse, and friction from running (started running 3mi/day about a month ago too). This was also the first girl i've slept with in about 7 months...so i'm thinkin it could be just getting irritated. Among my research i read about a male yeast infection and that seems awful close to the symptoms i'm showing..so i bought lotramin and have started to use that 2x day starting yesterday. any ideas?

Sounds like irritation to me but I'm not a dr.  Also sounds like your doing the right things.  If it doesn't clear up see somebody.

You really shouldn't have unprotected sex but at 23 your old enough to know better.  Think about it... Just having to ask this question means there's a problem.  If it's just an irritation your lucky this time.  I know people get tired of hearing it but it's not just a matter of few bumps any more.  It's life and death.  Be safe.

Best of luck.
Rod.
