problems ejaculating

My partner and I have been together for only 14 months, sex has always been good though recently my partner has been finding it hard to ejaculate and sometimes he can *** to quick,

we only see each other at weekends,

this has become worrying for him as he is only 47 years old he does smoke but not many and doesnt drink much either, he is on simvastatins for high Cholesterol.

Please can someone help as we are both worried about it.
Thank you

I am 44 years old and on any given night can be a champion/porn star or a 2 pump chump.  (The stress of not satisfying my wife used to drive me crazy)  There can be any number of things that can affect this.  Stress, diet, exercise, too much drink can all be contributing factors.

I'd suggest a few things, but remember that I am not a professional.  If the problems persist, you should seek the advice from a professional.  As for the suggestions.... who is normally in control during love making?  A lot of times, varying speeds will prolong sex.  Sometimes a regular steady pace is the key.  (Level of excitement/arousal has a big something to do with this)  Oral sex, do you practice that?

A great practice is, you give him oral for a while then switch.  If you have a couple of orgasms, good!  Then talk him through it.... let him penetrate you and go for it!

Since the symptoms seem to vary... sometimes too fast and sometimes not available to achieve an orgasm, your sexual practices should probably change a bit too.  Don't get stuck in a rut and doing it the same way for weeks on end.  Different positions, different times.... seduce him out of the blue....

Probably most important is for him to relax a bit.  He is probably putting too much pressure on himself.  (Every time a guy has sex, he is trying to knock your socks off....every time.) If he can relax, (and you can tell him this) there is no pressure.  Assure him that you'll get yours regardless.  And help him, let him know what is working for you.  That was a big key with my wife and I.... soon as I knew I was doing it for her, things got far better.

But back to the time thing, speaking for myself.... anything can happen and it depends on the circumstances.
