question about blood work, please read

Hello, I'm a 21 year old male who just went to the doctor and had blood work done. The normal range for Red blood count for my age is from 4-6.2. Mine was 6.1. Also, the normal range for hemoglobin is 14-17, mine was 17.5. I was wondering if these are bad and what causes them? The doctor is testing me for polycythemia vera, and oxygen levels. I'm tired, listless, sometimes get headaches, and have ringing in the ears, which the doctor said thick blood can cause which I have, but never had before. I was wondering what thick blood and these higher numbers could be? I never had this before, but have suffered from anxiety and stress, coudl these make the numbers higher? please respond, thank you so much

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT YOUR LEVELS ARE FINE. THEY ARE JUST SLIGHTLY ABOVE THE NORMAL AND I DONT THINK THAT ITS A PROBLEM. I ALSO HAVE HIGH RBC MYSELF.
