question bout tylenol

what happends if a human swallows a bottle of tylenol?
does a human die from that stuff?
i mean like i see my lito brother always puttin the bottle in his mouth and my parents rushing to grab it out
does it kill or something? whats the deal..
how long does one have to live if they swallow that stuff

Tylenol, when taken in quantities other than those indicated on the bottle, will indeed cause poisioning and can lead to death depending on the extent of the overdose.  Consuming a bottle of tylenol will result in death within 24 h due to severe damage to the liver (which will cause it to shut down)- however, if prompt hospital treatment is sought an antidote called N-acetylcysteine, or Mucomyst, can be given which can save the individual.

it also causes  stomach bleeding, especially if u swallow a whole bottle...
