red bumps around anal area

I have several red bumps around my anal area that have been there for almost a week now. They are painful when touched. Are they symptoms of Herpes or some other STD? What can I do to get rid of them? I uploaded a photo of the area so that it may be of some help in giving me the advice that I need.
