red rash after jock itch

I am 46 male.
I recently developed jock itch. I picked up some micatin.
After the first time i used it, i developed a bright red dry skin all over my scrotum now. Could this be caused by the micatin. The redness on the scrotum isnt realy itchy or soar, and doesnt look like the jock itch rash.
I did put the micatin on the scrotum, thinking it would stop any spread of the rash. I am now only putting it on the rash below the scrtotum, but the scrotum rash is not changeing.

The cream works well on dry skin.  If the skin is wet when you apply it, it can cause some irritation and it doesn't work well.  You are treating candida yeast.  You will have to use it the full period mentioned on the product.  If it is causing too much irritation, you might want to change to Lotrimin (butenafine hydrochloride) cream.
