scared of pulmonary embolisim, only 18

Hi, ive had bad mono for the last 3 months and spend the majority of the time in bed, im just getting better, today I woke up with pain on the right side of my chest when I inhaled. I now have some pain in my lower back on the right side, im scared to death of getting a pulmonary embolisim, can someone tell me that im being paranoid? I also had mild shortness of breath.
