semen unpleasant odor

I'm a 38 year old male, have not been sexually active for 4 years. When I masterbate my semen produces a extremely unpleasant odor, similar to a fishy smell. I started having this problem about 12 years ago and have tried many things to fix it. It is NOT a hygene issue. I shower regularly and thoroughly. I have been to doctors, taken tests to rule out STD's but have always gotten a limited answer to why this happens. This problem had a profound negative affect on my marriage. My wife would always get an infectiion within a week or so after we would have intercourse.regardless of how much I washed or what I ate etc. Now I am divorced so it is not as urgent of a matter other than I am always self concious and shy away from dating. The semen smells normal initially but if I don't wash within an hour it becomes malodorous. Please help if you can.
