don't panic yet.  it could be something as simple as left over from a prior bout of pnemonia (pneumonia).

My mother is 62 years old and has never smoked, does not drink alcohol and has never been overweight.  About 2 1/2 years she was diagnosed with RCC Kidney Cancer.  About 2 years ago she had her left kidney removed.  She was free and clear of cancer until about a year ago.  She has had TCC tumors show up in her bladder.  The doctor has been cauterizing the tumors every three months and says they are very low grade and do no impose a health risk.  Just recently the doctor did an overall CT scan on her and found a spot on her right lung.  The doctor has previously done chest x-rays on her and a spot never showed up.  The doctor does not know if this spot was there before the kidney was removed however; the doctor does not think this spot is kidney cancer because her abdonminal area and lymph nodes are clear.  She does not have any symptoms of lung cancer other than hoarseness which she has had for a very long time.  Her oxygen level is 100 percent and she has no pain or trouble breathing.  The doctor prescribed her antibiotics and will do another CT scan in about a month to see if the spot has decreased in size.  What are the chances that this could be metastatic kidney cancer?

To: spot found on left lung

doctor found a spot on my husband left lung from x-rays.  He wants him to get a cat scan soon.  Last year he went to the emergency room they  thought he had a heart attack.  His heart was beating abnormal they put a catherder in him and it showed he was fine.  Can this spot on the x-ray be related? He had problems breathing at that time i took him into emergency.  He is young 30 years old and does not smoke

I have the exact same circumstance, except I am a smoker. I'm 27 but also have been smoking for 15 years. I am seeing the Doc again this tuesday when I find something out I am more than willing to share. feel free to email me at ***@**** just put lung int he subject box because I have a lot of spam mail...by the way since they found the spot I have quit smoking, going on day 14 tomorrow.
Also, when I thought I had a heart attack my BP was 157 over 111, just out of curiosity what have the docs been able to tell you all?
