testesterone gel question

I am on Androgel for testesterone replacement therapy. The instructions say not to apply to my penis. I have done it sometimes and get an erection. Why should I not do this?

You might want to ask this in the womens health area. But my understanding is that as sexual excitement starts with women fluids lubricate the vagina. Do some fore play like an hour or two.

From my understanding and use, you apply it in areas so that absorption is slow into the blood stream. Transference to other people can happen when you have sex. Toxic to women.
