tingling/fleeting throbbing on lower left side near back love handles

I have this ongoing sensation of a dull pain that is on and off internally on my left side just anbove my hip bone-toward the back area-what possibilties can it be?

your kidney is in that area....sounds like a kidney stone developing.....quick MRI rules it out.
