torn foreskin

torn foreskin

OK so last night my partner and I were in bed and the foreskin of my penis got pulled back so hard that the thin part of the foreskin that joins to the groove of the penis overstretched and tore. It is now the day after and it is very painful to pull the foreskin back when not erect, so i imagine it would be a lot more painful when erect. I want to have any advice as to what I should do about this. Should I see a doctor? or wait it out a bit? or self-treatment? answers appreciated, thanks.

Hello,
If the penis hole and frenulum are torn, then the only answer to their treatment is by means of surgery which should be done by a good urosurgeon or plastic surgeon. My sincere advice would be to consult them at the earliest.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I would see a urologist for his advice and treatment.  He can help you avoid infection.

The frenulum is certainly torn, partially, and the damage looks more than minor. A quick wikipedia search revealed - "It is possible for the frenulum of the penis to tear during sexual activity. The frenular artery may be severed, causing significant bleeding".

There was bleeding but that ceased shortly after. however the tear appears to have made a permanent change to the area and it looks and feels very delicate and that it could be completely damaged. I am too afraid to engage in any more sexual activity in the near future and I will heed both your and the previous user's advice in consulting a urologist as soon as possible.

Thank you for your answer and I will keep you posted on the matter.
