My husband had a liver transplant 1 year ago. Was doing great for 7 mths. then docs switched him from prograf and cell cept to cell cept and rapamune.ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. he went into resp. arrest 4 times in a month kidney failure and many other things. the docs would not listen and kept saying it was his pain medication and not the rapamune. they kept him on it for 4 mths. then finally took him off after we made them realize it was the rapamune now months later he has bouts of severe edema losing 50 lbs. of fluid in days and they say they do not know what is wrong ANY IDEAS
