I'm a 41 yr old female. I have this isssue on the bottom of my right foot. Intermittent waves of heat, not burning like athletes foot. The foot websites indicate that the foot feeling hot can be nerve related. One thing I've noticed in the postings is many of you are into yoga or other exercise. Note that there are 5 discs ( lumbar nerves) in the small of the back which go to the legs according to a chart I have of the spine. This may be a nerve problem in the leg originating in the lower back. I would imagine sitting a lot or carrying something heavy could effect these discs as well. Just a thought...
