I have a white crater like sore on my scrotum that started as a small red itch area with a small hole in the middle. It does hurt and makes it hard to walk. there's only one and it keeps growing. it started about 3 days ago. please help!
A clinical examination is very important for determining the cause of your symptoms. A crater like lesion could possibly be due to an ulcer formation which can be caused by any infection, inflammation or cancer. Ulcer like sores can be seen in many conditions like sexually transmitted infections like genital herpes, syphilis, chancroid, granuloma inguinale etc. Allergic reactions, Behchet’s disease and bacterial infections are few other possibilities. Avoid self treatment. See a doctor. Treatment will depend on the cause. Do keep me posted.
Best wishes and kind regards!
