It may be an alergic (allergic) reaction to your soap. I had a similar problem that had lasted for at least 10 years. I received numerous prescriptions for ointments and steroids over the years with very little success. It wasn't until about a month ago that I completely switched to an olive oil based soap that my issue subsided. Since I have been using this soap my symptoms have disappeared 100%. The brand that has worked for me has been Kiss My Face olive oil soap. I hope this helps you and others with similar problems.
