I am getting what seem to be Brain Zaps but have never taken medications...i have also not had any panic/anxiety attacks for quite some time. I even saw a nuerologist and had an MRI done and everything came back clear. it stopped for a while and not it's back...What other explanations could this be?

Withdrawal from another substance?  A deficiency??  I don't know.
Could there be an anxiety link?  To me it sounds like it stopped while there was reassurance from the neurologist/ scan.  I could be wrong.  I really don't know.  It's good that the scan can be clear though.

If it is not neurological, it can only be psychological....you may not have panic attacks, but something may be bothering you that you are avoiding...you can go to my new site launching later today called www.myvirtualshrink.com and take the free session that will review your life stressors and you may find some emotional connection to explore.
